It is finally Halloween! Time sure does fly by. Since Halloween this year lands on a Wednesday, I plan on staying in and watching movies. It’s a perfect time to watch some good Halloween films and eat all the candy & a bunch of snacks. I wanted to share a couple of yummy fall snacks I have been enjoying from time to time this season and a v delicious fall drink! They are perfect for a movie night or even a small get together.
Fall Popcorn Mix
What you will need:
- Popcorn
- Pretzels
- Candy corn
- Chocolate (I used Hershey’s)
- m&m’s (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare popcorn according to directions on package.
- In a microwave- safe bowl, microwave chocolate until melted.
- In a large bowl, layer popcorn, pretzels, candy corn and m&m’s (optional)
- Drizzle melted chocolate.
- Continue steps 3 & 4 until all popcorn is used or until desired.
- Enjoy!
Caramel Apple Slices
Caramel apples are perfect for Fall! They can be a bit too much to bite into, so slicing them is perfect.
What you will need:
- Apples (I used Granny Smith)
- Toppings of your choice (I used peanuts and a mix of sprinkles)
- Old Fashioned Caramel Dip or caramel candy to melt
- Bamboo skewers
Instructions:
- Make sure apples are washed and thoroughly dried (caramel will slide off if there is any moisture)
- Melt the caramel dip (make sure it is hot)
- Slice apples into quarters or eighths (depending on how thick you want the apple slices to be)
- Separate your toppings in different ramekins
- Insert skewers into sliced apples
- Dip apples into melted caramel
- Roll the apples into your toppings
- Enjoy!
Apple Cider Float
What you will need:
- Vanilla Ice cream
- Apple cider (unfortunately I couldn’t find apple cider, but no worries Simply Apple works just fine!)
- Jar or cup of your choice
- Straw
Instructions:
- Add 1- 2 scoops of ice cream to your jar
- Fill up your jar with your apple cider
- Add in straw & enjoy!
Hope you try out some of these goodies! They are a fun addition to have while hanging out on a cozy night in. Halloween may quickly come and go, but we still have some of the Fall season left! Hope y’all have a great Halloween!
XOXO,
Janet
