The Loo

Wow! I feel so disappointed. Life has seriously gotten the best of me lately and I haven’t kept up with my blog. So if you are still receiving my emails and still follow me, thank you! I really do appreciate you!

So this past month I worked on a little photo book named “The Loo.” It was so fun working on a whole project of my own. The photo book is a collection of toilets throughout LA. To compile all the photos for the book I went to a lot of bars and coffee shops. I also had a day full of adventure in Silver Lake. It was so interesting to experiment with different perspectives of taking pictures of toilets and just the restrooms in general haha. I also know it doesn’t sound appealing but it is actually pretty fun seeing people react to it.

The whole concept came from visiting lots of restrooms when we go out to bars/coffee shops. I don’t know about you, but when I go to a nice restroom I see myself spending a lot more time in there. We go in and do our quick business but if it has nice wallpaper and nice fixtures we spend more time in there and “hangout” a little longer. Whilst I am out with friends and if one of them goes in the restroom they come back and tell me the restroom is so nice! You have to go and well, its a thing!
