Back to School, I Go!

Hello, you lovely bunch! I am back with a back to school blog post! Some of you may know that I have decided to go back to school and I am actually excited about it! Who even am I? haha, that is totally unlike me, but I knew it was something I had to do for myself when I felt the time was right. It is customary for kids to go to college right after high school and I did that, but honestly, I had to discover myself and do it for me rather than because everyone told me to or because that is what you are supposed to do. Now I am in and it is on my terms and on my time! So yesterday, Monday, August 26th was my first day of school and I had such a great day. It was the standard class intro, syllabus overview but I already learned soooo much that I am excited for the next 17 weeks to see how much more I learn! For today’s post, I wanted to share with you all my back to school supplies. I will link everything in case you want to shop for the items too!

PLANNER

A Planner is a MUST HAVE for me! I use it religiously and it just helps me stay organized! I usually buy a Rifle Paper Planner because their covers always get me! Super cute floral prints and it’s nice & clean on the inside. This time I decided to switch things up and go with a Ban.do planner because it’s the polar opposite of the Rifle one. It is colorful & fun and well I think it’s just going to motivate me to take it out and use it much more than I already do during the school year. The cover is nice but I am not crazy about it. It’s slowly growing on me haha. The layout between the two are different, but so far I’ve adjusted just fine! Also, since I write so much I always go for the large spiral ones. I know many people think its too big, but its a comfortable size for me.

PENS, PENCILS & INDEX CARDS

Colorful Pens are also a must-have for me! I personally enjoy having a range of colors when I write notes or use my planner. It helps me divide things easily and that’s v helpful for me. I got my KACO Retractable Gel Pens from Paper Source. They aren’t listed on their website, so I searched for them and found them on Amazon for a much better deal! I got mine for $2.95 each and they are $12.65 for a pack of 20! These pens are plain and simple, but write so nice and smooth and I just love them! For my pencils, I went with Paper Mate Clearpoint Mechanical Pencils. These take me back to high school and I remember how much I love them and how smooth and nice they are to hold when writing. I also decided to get some Index cards to use for when studying for a test. I found these at Staples for 75¢ (50¢ online) which is such a good deal! I originally wanted colorful ones, but the price was too good to pass on it.

NOTEBOOKS, PAPER & FOLDERS

Notebooks are essential for note-taking, it’s self-explanatory. I found this cute Ban.do Forever Busy Journal for $8 (originally $16) at Paper Source. I think I love the Gold background the most haha but just the overall color combination is so good! Band.do has a similar one and it is the I Am Very Busy Pink/ Holographic notebook that is also verrry cute! I got “The Future is Bright” Notebook at Staples, but can’t find it anywhere on the internet! I love this notebook because it was $3 and it has such a nice, positive cover! For lined paper, I got the Five Star College Ruled Paper which is one of my favorite because it has that strong reinforcement tape that will help keep the paper neat in my binder.  The Five Star Paper Folder is something I like to have to keep important papers organized and neat. I love that they make different colors so I can have my own little system and know what folder is for what.

BACKPACK

Oh gosh, this one was a TOUGH decision! I went back & forth trying to decide between two backpacks and I finally decided to get the Kanken 15″ Laptop Backpack. I know EVERYONE owns a Kanken backpack but they have a cute aesthetic and are actually very durable and well, I know it is a good one because I had a different Kanken that was very useful & cute. So I decided to just go with one that I know is a good one just with a laptop pocket!

Well, that is all I bought as far as supplies/necessities go. I have lots of other fun pens and stationary stuff since I usually just buy stationary because I really love that kind of stuff! I hope you all enjoyed this post whether if you are going to school, or you also just love stationary stuff or whatever the reason maybe!
