Blogmas Day 1

Wow, it is finally December! I love December for many reasons and I’m so happy its finally here! I am doing Blogmas once again.. Yay! This is probably my third year doing it, although I gave up some point last year. It might have been the second week? Not entirely sure haha. I was extremely busy at the time and I was unable to keep up with it. Not that I am not busy now, but since it has been a tough year and Christmas time truly makes me happy, I am going to do it!!

Tuesday, December 1st

I woke up very excited! A week or two ago, I went to Barnes and Noble and I found this F.R.I.E.N.D.S advent Calendar and I instantly knew I had to have it! I’ve done those chocolate advent calendars before, but you always know you’ll be getting a chocolate each day and it isn’t much of a surprise, so not knowing exactly what I’ll be getting each day is very exciting! If you follow me on Instagram, each day leading up to Christmas, I will be opening up an envelope containing a small F.R.I.E.N.D.S. related surprise (it will be on my stories). For December 1st, I got a little ornament in the shape of the classic frame on Monica’s door. I think it’s so cute and I am so happy that was the first thing in there.

Then I put together my little Christmas tree that goes in my bedroom. For some reason, I can not find a few of last years ornaments, tree topper and skirt that went with this baby tree, so I am going to have to buy some during the week!

Later in the morning, I went out for coffee and came back home to get myself ready for work. It was a very long work day, but I managed to build Mason, my cat, his little Christmas scratcher. I think it is so cute and I totally love it! It has been a little tradition to always get him a holiday scratcher and it is so nice looking forward to getting him a new design. He has been using it so much since it got put together and it makes me happy to see how much he loves it!

After work, we decorated the little area by our fireplace. I am not entirely sure how I feel about it yet, but it will do for now! I don’t really have a big mantel space, so it is a bit hard to decorate exactly the way I want. I might add some garland later on, but that is for another day!
